Grants are available for projects costing between £500 and £5000. Awards for All are a multi lottery distributor to organisations. The main aims are to increase participation, create new opportunities or extend current provision. These grants are not for equipment only bids or activities that are already happening. The Lords Taverners provide support for clubs and schools in need of non turf pitches, nets and equipment. Application forms can be obtained from Colin Davies. However, Colin needs to endorse the application. Only clubs or schools who are active members of the District Development Group will be considered by Colin.

Sport England support Capital Projects over £5000. There is a need to have a project clearly defined. The maximum grant aid is 65% unless the project is in a priority area.  For an informal discussion - 0115 982 1887

Clubs will need a minimum £1000 from private sponsorship for a defined project. This will be matched pound for pound.

NOF will support education projects that have a large proportion of socio/economic regeneration. Applications must be made by schools, albeit clubs have the opportunity to support school bids by adding community participation to the bid. Closing dates are believed to be by 31st Jan 2002.

If your club falls in the coalfield area you can claim for projects that are socio/ecomonic regeneration this includes training (Applicable to Hartshorne, Linton, Netherseal, Midway, Gresley, Newhall, Overseal, Swadlincote, Walton and Woodville)
